The PIA-first trading strategy service is provided by 3 market professionals who have spent many years in financial institutions providing actionable research and trading strategies for Institutional clients.
Dee Rooney - Dee Rooney is a professionally qualified Technical Analyst (MSTA) and was awarded “Best Writer” by the UK Society of Technical Analysts in 1997 for her popular contributions to the Society’s Journal. She holds a Masters degree from Stirling University and attained full membership of the Institutional Investment Management and Research organisation (now CFA Society of the UK). She has also been part of the external examiner panel for the South Bank University Technical Analysis module (2004 – 2009). Dee has gained 8 years experience with blue chip institutions as an analyst and fund manager, primarily focussed on North American and Canadian equity portfolios, and a further 8 years as a sell side analyst specialising in relative value arbitrage. She believes that Technical Analysis is an essential part of a successful trading methodology.
Ian Coleman - 21 years Institutional experience in FX broking, sales, education and analysis in London. Ian has held senior positions in the FX broking market and hosted many educational seminars both in the UK and overseas.
Eric Dong - Eric has a breadth of experience across Fixed Income, Commodity, FX and Index markets analysis. He joins us from BBSP Paris where he was Technical Analyst and Trading Consultant - Fixed Income. Prior to that he was at Newedge Group - Capital Markets Trading Strategist and Advisory; and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Luxembourg Branch – Assistant Proprietary Trader. Eric has a Masters in Financial Markets Trading, ESLSCA business school, along with other qualifications in international finance. Eric is a member of the CAIA.
